October 9th grape harvest
The beginning of the year (January – February – March) was mild and without snow or rain, then May and June were rainy and the water scarcity of the previous year was partially restored.
The summer was dry and hot with abundant rain at the end of August which revitalized the plants giving a positive boost to the harvest. Apart from some sunburn, the grapes ripened very well, producing balanced, colorful wines with lower alcohol content than the latest harvests. These results were also obtained thanks to the careful selection of the grapes during the harvest.
