September 30th grape harvest
January and February were mild and snowless, while spring rains favored bud break and a good vegetative recovery. July, cool at night and warm during the day, again favored vegetation and the development of new shoots.
Early August was particularly hot, causing a slight slowdown in plant growth. After mid-August, lower temperatures, some rain, and a moderate temperature range allowed the vines to proceed with optimal ripening, leading to an early harvest. The grapes reached full sugar and polyphenolic ripeness, giving us wines that are very expressive on the nose and well-structured on the palate.
